Homework News- There will be no paragraphs or reading responses this week due to the Plant Talk preparations. The following are the due dates for presentations. Please ensure that the children have either a picture or the plant itself for the day of the presentation-they do not need to bring in anything ahead of time.

Criteria for presentations: Please make sure that you remember these things when presenting in front of an audience:
Eye contact- (look directly at people in the audience)
Voice- make sure that you are speaking loudly, slowly and clearly.
Posture- never put your back to the audience and stand straight and tall
Answering questions: it's always a good idea to thank the person for his/her question and to answer as fully as you can in complete sentences.
