Weekly Paragraph: Last Friday was Games Day. Every class at St. Anne got to play games for part of the day. WOW! There was not only a lot of fun going on but a lot of learning too! For this week's paragraph, imagine your teacher is buying new games for your class. What is your favourite game? Write a (persuasive argument) paragraph to convince your teacher to buy a game you like.
How to organize your persuasive argument:
Introduction: Your introduction should hook your reader's attention and provide background information on your topic.
Body: Your body should present the points in support of your main idea. Be sure to provide evidence for each point.
Conclusion: Creatively restate your main idea and supporting points.
Remember: Check your spelling, grammar and punctuation. Check over your work.
Reading Response: Read the article Making Clothes the Pioneer Way and answer the questions in the form under your teacher's homework link.
Continue to do at least 15 minutes of reading each night.
